The book is a bit short but gets to its points quickly and clearly. It is not a programming or technical book; which is a good thing – it covers, instead, only the very important business aspects to starting and growing an e-commerce website. Good tips on how to increase traffic to your site; how to set up the site’s content and headers to optimize it’s visibility and rank on search engines. Gives you the perspective and wisdom from a writer who has created and grown successful website businesses.

This book is a “how to” make a business plan for a web business. It does provides some very good information, but I guess I was expecting something more. Perhaps more examples of the different types of web businesses and how to make each one sucessful, and more SEO tactics in the creation of the web site. I feel like it answered some questions and opened the door to a lot more new questions.

My interest in book reading is to collect accurate information, straight to the point. I want to be able to put information to use right away and achieve and end result. I know my individual situation is always unique. Most writers usually convey general information and it may not work in every situation. I know from my experience details matter. Nelson Bates is specific with the information he conveys. If you follow his simple detailed steps, this information will work for you. You too will have a successful website business.

This book is to the point and way easy to understand! I understand the process of launching a website that will make money quickly now. I love that it’s step by step; really like paint by numbers. Nelson Bates distilled the knowledge of a bunch of technical and professional people into a short easy read. He has raised the bar for this industry; I love capitalism! This book will ensure the financial success of my business and my personal life. After reading it, don’t let it’s simplicity fool you. It’s actually brilliant wisdom.

I am preparing to launch a more complicated website than I already have, and I’ve read several books to help me. Nelson Bates’ book is short, to the point, and has many hard-to-find perfect practical gems throughout the book. The catchphrase “making a $100,000/month” is just a gambit to be noticed, but not a lie, as the author’s explanation of how to do it makes sense. (Just not something most people will do.) The book itself is not remotely gimmicky. It’s just practical and helpful. If this subject is of interest to you, you should not hesitate to purchase, as you will pick up several tips that will absolutely help your business.
