  • First the bad. The text looks like it was written as Web content (e.g., no hyphens) and then slapped down on paper without anybody bothering to reformat it for print. So, you have a lot of sentences like this:

“People that tend to decieve the search engines with SPAM doorway pages often only register domain names for the shortest period of time normally one year whilst legitimate domains are registered for considerably longer.”

    and

“Using the relative importance of each element the search engine looks at the frequency and amount of changes over time.”

But, despite being a bit hard to read, the book nicely blends strategic overview with nuts-and-bolts advice on execution. Both compact and comprehensive, it makes a handy and highly useful reference. (And, as a positive style note, I enjoy all those British words like “advert” and “whilst”!)

  • …does not worth the price. It just put up all of the jargons into one book and explain to you. Well…try wikipedia if you want to understand the terms. not here.

  • This has a few OK ideas and is organized well. Mostly a summary of things one could assume. There are definitely others that are better.

  • I have read countless amounts of material that talk about online media planning and viral marketing however this book covers every area in as much detail that is necessary without overloading you with too much nonsence. I have begun incorporating many of the strategies and I have to say so far so good. A must have for any online retailer.

  • Just another checklist of online marketing items – which the other review claims – can be found in the web. Im really disappointed with this book , not even a single case study to boot and at $19 dollars!!?? – come on.
